My scientific and creative process mainly focused on attention to detail, and spending lots of time. In order to develop our artistic skills we started off with different exercises. We practiced sketches at school as well as at Balboa Park. In these exercises, we used a framing device. This divide is basically just a square cut out on paper which is used to focus on one thing only. We did this, both times, and tried to draw only what we saw through that square. For my zine page, I decided to draw, both the heart and the brain which were described in my story. The heart is what I am most proud of because I payed so much attention to detail and allowed myself time to focus on only that drawing for a couple of days. A big challenge for me was not diving up my time evenly. I gave myself a lot of time to focus on my first drawing but didn't pay as much attention to detail to my second one. In order to change this, I would really like to separate the time that I have and make sure I take the time necessary to make sure all of my work is of the same quality. I am most proud of having been able to get everything done in time. Having my drawings, zine page, and story done in time was super relieving and allowed me to not have to stress out about unfinished work.
