The critique process was like any other at High Tech High. We gave cool and warm feedback while being kind, specific, and helpful. The twist on this critique though, was that we were also given feedback on how well we communicated our struggles and what we did to help ourselves. It felt good to have my story critiqued after every draft. I enjoy watching my work become better and better each time and all the feedback I received allowed me to do so. Our third draft critique was a little different. We got into small groups where each of us got to read our stories out loud. This was very helpful because when we read out stories we would ask clarifying questions which made it easy to see if we needed to delete or reword something.
